Scholarship Program

The Parks & Rec Scholarship Program (parques y lugares recreativos de Tigard Becas) provides financial assistance for city residents to participate in Recreation Program activities.

• $300 scholarships (per household, per calendar year) cover 75%, 85% (limited availability), or 100% (maximum reached for 2026) of the registration fee for Tigard Parks & Recreation programs and events.
• Program activities include day camps, no school camps, kids' night out, adult craft and fitness classes, and partner organization classes like Skyhawks and Soccer Shots.

How to Apply

2026 applications open for submissions on January 1, 2026.

1. Fill out a scholarship program application ( Guía para Becas ) or request a paper copy: 503-718-2697 or recreation@tigard-or.gov.
2. Submit the completed application along with proof of residency and demonstrated need.
3. Once approved, register for programs offered by Tigard Parks and Recreation. Your scholarship is automatically applied to future registrations.
