The Tigard Police Department shares a sample of calls for service each week to educate community members about the types of calls officers respond to each day, providing perspective on the work they do for our city.

While only 2-4 calls are listed in this record per day, Tigard Police officers respond to an average of more than 100 calls every day, between dispatched calls for service and self-initiated calls which may include extra patrols, traffic stops, neighborhood contacts or checking out suspicious circumstances.

Note: Some of these incidents involve individuals exhibiting signs of mental health crises and/or drug and alcohol impairment based on the information provided to officers and their observations, however officers do not diagnose individuals.
