About the Library of Things
Our Library of Things is a collection of items for loan that expands the boundaries of traditionally defined library materials.
This collection offers the community the opportunity to be introduced to new and emerging technologies, to try out items before purchasing them, and encourages the “sharing economy” by offering access to items that may normally be inaccessible to many patrons, or needed just once or twice a year for short periods of time in a non-time-sensitive manner.
With this collection, Tigard Public Library aims to offer the physical tools needed to support lifelong learning and creativity, and provide new ways for kids and adults to interact and explore.
See all the items in our catalog! We have a Library of Things for teens and adults and a Library of Things for kids.
