As we continue to provide the services you have come to expect, we have made some changes to the way we operate as we work towards creating a healthier city.

Submit Input on City Projects

  • STATUS: Community members can share their input on our digital engagement platforms.
  • MODIFICATIONS: We are using ‘Your Tigard’, Facebook Live!, and YouTube to connect with the community. We are not currently doing in-person outreach. 
  • HOURS: ‘Your Tigard’ is always open for you to provide input. The Mayor and City Council host Facebook Live! conversations the first and third Thursday of each month. Details here. Previous conversations are available on our YouTube channel.

Apply for Utility Bill Assistance

  • STATUS: The city and Washington County have funding available to assist with utility bill payments.

  • MODIFICATION: We’re providing relief from city fees and charges during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We’ve taken steps to ensure customers have uninterrupted access to utility services, assistance is available to those who need it, and our utilities remain financially sound.

  • STATUS - The building is closed to the public.
  • MODIFICATIONS - Library takeout services are available including holds pick-up, drive-up returns at the book drop, and a walk-up service desk. 

    Library Takeout hours are Monday-Saturday 12-5 pm. Materials can be returned 24/7.

    Free WiFi is available 24/7 outside the building.

Police Department 

  • STATUS – The building is closed.
  • MODIFICATIONSPolice reports can be submitted online. For records requests, tow releases, liquor licenses, alarm permits, general inquiries, and deliveries, staff is available by phone. Property releases are by appointment only.
    Records services are available Sun-Sat, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.

Municipal Court

  • STATUS - Court counters are currently closed.
  • MODIFICATIONS - Hearings and arraignments are being held virtually.
  • HOURS - Municipal Court services are available Mon-Thurs, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

Parks and Restrooms

  • STATUS - All Tigard parks and playgrounds are open. Physical distancing and face coverings are required. Park shelter and facility reservations, including the Fanno Creek House, are closed until further notice. Limited sports with established partners are allowed per Oregon Health Authority Phase I guidance.
  • AMENITIES - Handsoap, running water (cold), hand dryers
  • HOURS - 6 a.m. to dusk, seven days a week (doors are programmed by timers)
  • MODIFICATIONS - High contact sport courts (ex. basketball), and shelter reservations remain closed.

Permit Center

  • STATUS - Drop box in Permit Center Lobby is open; Permit Center counters are closed.
  • HOURS - Drop box services available Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
    Inspections will occur Mon-Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    » Inspections will continue with staff working from their vehicles
