Status Update!

As we continue to provide the services you have come to expect, we have made some changes to the way we operate as we work towards creating a healthier city.

Municipal Court

  • STATUS - Court counters are open.  Payments can also be made by mail, online or placed in the locked city hall depository.
  • MODIFICATIONS - The judge is hearing cases in-person Tues-Thurs. 
  • HOURS - Municipal Court services are available in person Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and by phone Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Utility Billing

  • STATUS -The Utility Billing Counter is now available to assist customers in-person Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. However, we encourage you to submit your payments online or contact us by phone for your convenience. Payments can be made by mail, phone, online or placed in a City of Tigard drop box.
  • MODIFICATIONS - Assistance programs are still available.

Submit Input on City Projects

  • STATUS: Community members can share their input on our digital engagement platforms.
  • MODIFICATIONS: We are using ‘Your Tigard’, Facebook Live!, and YouTube to connect with the community. We are not currently doing in-person outreach.

Police Department 

  • STATUS – Effective June 28, 2021, the lobby will be open 8 am - 6 pm, 7 days per week.
  • MODIFICATIONSPolice reports can be submitted online. For records requests, tow releases, liquor licenses, alarm permits, general inquiries, and deliveries, staff is available by phone.

Parks and Restrooms

  • STATUS - All Tigard parks and playgrounds are open. 
  • AMENITIES - Handsoap, running water (cold), hand dryers
  • HOURS - 6 a.m. to dusk, seven days a week (doors are programmed by timers)

  • STATUS – Public Works counters are closed.

Permit Center

  • STATUS - Drop box in Permit Center Lobby is open; Permit Center counters are closed.
  • HOURS - Drop box services available Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
    Inspections will occur Mon-Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    » Inspections will continue with staff working from their vehicles
    » Fee payments accepted online only. Permit staff will contact you with payment options.
