The Community Planning Division facilitates short and long term growth.  Planning staff work with citizens and developers on everything from visioning projects to approving final development plans.  The division also creates and maintains long range plans that guide development in Tigard and community livability compliance.

Community Planning facilitates development review in Tigard, such as zone changes, sensitive land permits, subdivisions, land partitions, signs and tree removal permits. See Permit Services to prepare for your visit to the Permit Center.

The permit coordinator assists with the project development process by acting as a liaison between developers, builders, applicants and city staff for coordination of planning, engineering and building permits.  To find out if your project has been approved, what conditions of approval are not met, information on system development fees, the development process, or certificate of occupancy, please contact Agnes Lindor, Assoc. Planner, or 503-718-2429.

It is important that Tigard remains a safe, clean, and attractive community. See Code Compliance for information on common code violations or to submit a Community Livability Compliance Request.
