City Center Building Improvement Program
Program Details
The City Center Building Improvement Program provides matching grants for existing businesses in the City Center TIF District to make improvements to the exterior of their business. New catalyst businesses moving into vacant spaces in Downtown are also eligible for funding to make interior upgrades. This program has previously supported renovation projects at Symposium Coffee, Jeffrey Allen Gallery, Max’s Fanno Creek Brew Pub (now Cooper Mountain Ale Works), Senet Game Bar, Sherrie’s Jewelry Box and others.
The maximum grant award under this program is up to $75,000 for food & beverage businesses and up to $25,000 for catalytic retail businesses.
Matching grant funds support two distinct but related programs: The Exterior Improvement Program and the Interior Improvement Program.
