Project Description
This program is used for urgent projects to renew, repair, or replace sections of the stormwater system that have failed or are near failure, including pipes, culverts, and stream sections. Normal operations and maintenance includes work on the system to keep it functioning, however, this does not result in renewing or replacing the pipe or other parts of the system.

COST: $400,000 to $485,000 per year
FUNDING SOURCE: Stormwater Fund.

Durham Street & 99W Storm Drain Maintenance Project
We get asked often about the flooding that takes place on Durham Road near the Pacific Highway intersection. This is one of the major storm drain projects for 2025. The design process has been completed and the team is now working with ODOT on the permitting. Construction is planned to begin in the spring of 2025.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE COSTS: None. May slightly reduce ongoing maintenance costs by repairing or replacing older infrastructure.
WHY IT’S NEEDED: This is an annual program to preserve or replace portions of the city’s infrastructure.
