From plans to construction, explore some of the city's current projects!

Project Description

This project preserves or replaces park features including trails, bridges, irrigation systems, and buildings. Parks-maintenance treatments are based on a backlog of facilities in need of improvement or replacement. Priority is based on urgent repairs, life-safety concerns and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) retrofits. 

TIMELINE: Ongoing

FUNDING SOURCE: Parks System Development Charges (SDC) Fund

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE COSTS: None. May slightly reduce ongoing maintenance costs by repairing or replacing older park features. 

WHY IT’S NEEDED: This is an annual program to preserve or replace portions of the city’s parks infrastructure. 

STRATEGIC PLAN TIE-IN: Ensure development and growth support the community’s vision.
