Capital Improvement Projects

Project Description 

This project preserves or replaces park features including trails, bridges, irrigation systems, and buildings. Parks-maintenance treatments are based on a backlog of facilities in need of improvement or replacement. Priority is based on urgent repairs, life-safety concerns and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) retrofits.

 None. May slightly reduce ongoing maintenance costs by repairing or replacing older park features. 

Why It's Needed

This is an annual program to preserve or replace portions of the city’s parks infrastructure.
