2025 Concerts in the Park_Concert 2_1080x1080 Join Tigard Parks & Rec for a warm summer evening of dancing and music! Grab your lawn chairs, bring the family, and enjoy a evening filled with great tunes. Don’t miss out on this exciting concert in the park!

CJ Mickens, a Las Vegas native, discovered his love for music at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts and began performing through his church. After moving to the Pacific Northwest at 15, he won multiple music awards and later appeared on American Idol and Showtime at the Apollo. He has performed with legends like Gladys Knight and Lionel Richie and won Portland Idol in 2012.

Parks & Rec is looking for Senior On-Call Recreation Aides to help lead our Middle School After School Program and assist in additional programs and events such as Kids’ Night Out, Day Camps, and more! You will start out working weekday afternoons for approximately 6 – 12 hours per week from September through June.
