Older adults want to remain independent for as long as possible, but many haven’t taken the time to think through what supports they may need or how to begin planning. This seminar offers space to consider those questions and create next steps. The goal with this program is to spark reflection about and encourage action towards future needs in areas like health, home safety, support systems, services, and social connection.

The annual Festival of Balloons in Cook Park is a summer tradition. Dozens of balloons take flight in the early morning skies (weather permitting), while several events and activities provide fun for the entire family. Carnival rides, a 5K run, a car show and beer garden are among the festivities each year.
