The library provides a wide range of programs for children of all ages. They help develop early literacy skills and promote lifelong reading. A variety of Storytime programs for infants through age six, monthly activities for elementary school students, the annual Summer Reading program and many other programs develop and encourage imagination.

Puett Room | Beginning readers through 5th grade

Read to a certified therapy dog in a stress-free environment! Sign-up for a 20-minute reading session. Please register for only one reading session per child per month. Call 503-718-2656, stop by the Children’s Desk, or register online. Registration opens around the first of each month.
