Tigard-Tualatin School District and the City of Tigard are hosting a pride festival which includes a parade! All activities are free.

The annual Festival of Balloons in Cook Park is a summer tradition. Dozens of balloons take flight in the early morning skies (weather permitting), while several events and activities provide fun for the entire family. Carnival rides, a 5K run, a car show and beer garden are among the festivities each year.

The City Council declared Juneteenth as a City holiday by issuing the following proclamation and resolution.

Observation of Juneteenth is a visible way to demonstrate our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Organized by residents and enjoyed by all the locals, this home-grown parade always begins at 4 PM on the 4th of July.  Assembly starts at 3:45 on SW Millen Drive between SW 92nd Ave & SW 93rd Ave.

Every year, National Night Out (NNO) is celebrated in Tigard and in communities throughout the U.S. It's an opportunity for neighbors to gather, get to know each other and build a sense of community — one where neighbors look out for each other and work together to make their neighborhoods safer.
