Join us for the City of Tigard’s annual Veterans Day Flag Raising Ceremony in honor of those who have served our country. This free, family-friendly event takes place at the Tigard Public Library lawn and brings together local veterans, scout groups, community organizations, and city departments in a meaningful tribute.
The ceremony will include a flag raising led by local scouts, a moment of reflection and gratitude, and a short reading to honor the significance of the day. Donuts and coffee will be available for attendees.
Community partners include:
- Local Cub Scout Packs and Troops
- Veterans organizations (e.g., American Legion, VFW, DAV)
- Tigard Police Department
- Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue (TVF&R)
- Councilor Ghoddusi (veteran) will give remarks, City of Tigard staff and departments
- Hot cocoa and coffee will be provided by Chilita's
All are welcome to attend and show appreciation for our veterans. No registration required.
