24 Hours for Resiliency
Ever wonder how you would react during a crisis or disaster? Tigard’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training can give you the skills and confidence to provide lifesaving support in an emergency. CERT students receive 24 hours of training in basic emergency response skills like first aid, search and rescue, and fire safety and suppression. On Saturday, April 21, 2018, 43 individuals graduated from the city’s most recent class.
The program is managed by Tigard Emergency Services Coordinator Mike Lueck, who has been at the helm since the program began in 2003.
