Landlord Forum

Crime Prevention: Monthly Landlord Forum

SCHEDULE: Landlord Forums are held on on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The 90-minute sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. at the PCC Willow Creek Campus (241 SW Edgeway Drive, Hillsboro). There is no charge to attend and refreshments are available.

Here’s a sampling of future topics (subject to change without notice).

Landlord forum topics are subject to change without notice

Presented by the Westside Crime Prevention Coalition in partnership with Jeffrey S. Bennett, Attorney at Law

Forums are provided at no charge. The 90 minute forums cover a host of helpful topics for landlords, rental property owners and managers. Planned subject matter includes legal issues, law enforcement matters and other ways to help you solve your problems relating to residential rental properties. Representatives from local law enforcement agencies and other landlord specialists will be on hand to provide easy access to the very people who can help you succeed.

Learn about screening methods, working with law enforcement agencies and personnel, creating rental agreements, mastering CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) and successful eviction procedures. Develop networks and dialogues between local landlords, organizations and other professionals. Emerge better educated and more involved.

This is a great opportunity for any landlord who wants to be more successful.

This program is brought to you by the Westside Crime Prevention Coalition:
Beaverton Police, Forest Grove Police, Hillsboro Police, Tigard Police, Tualatin Police, Washington County Sheriff's Office and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.

We invite you to consider attending and learning how we can all work together to reduce the potential for crime at your property. Our combined efforts will continue to make Tigard a safe and desirable community for everyone.

For additional information, contact Jim Wolf at 503-718-2561 or email jim@tigard-or.gov.
