H.R. 218: The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004
On July 22, 2004, President George W. Bush signed legislation on a new federal law, which exempts law enforcement officers from state laws prohibiting carrying concealed firearms.

Vacation Checks
The Tigard Police Department is now able to offer "vacation checks" at your residence.
