(November 18, 2009) An employee of an Astro Gas Station located at 12885 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard, reported being robbed early Tuesday morning. Police reports indicate that a 48 year old female employee was approached in the office area of the gas station at approximately 4:30 a.m. by a white male adult. City of Tigard Names New Police Chief (October 15, 2009) City Manager Craig Prosser, recently announced his appointment for a new police chief for the City of Tigard. Former Assistant Chief Alan Orr will assume his new role as Chief of Police effective November 24th. Driver of Fatal Crash That Killed Two Is Arrested and Charged (October 1, 2009) The driver of a vehicle in which two passengers were killed, was arrested by Tigard Police this morning. Cory Wayne Warwick, 23, of Aloha, turned himself in at the Tigard Police Department after learning he was recently indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury. Warwick is charged with two counts of Manslaughter I and DUII. Man With Knife Robs Hotel Clerk (September 28, 2009) On Sunday, September 27th at approximately 2:15 p.m., a lone man threatened and robbed an employee at a Shilo Inn in Tigard. The hotel is located at 10830 SW Greenburg Rd. Tigard Police Sex Abuse Investigation May Involve Additional Victims (September 4, 2009) Tigard Police Detectives believe that their investigation into alleged sex abuse involving a 28-year-old female may reveal additional victims. On August 24th, Milwaukie Police Department arrested 28-year-old Craig Daniel Smith. Couple Reports Being Robbed While In Their Vehicle (September 1, 2009) Tigard Police were dispatched to a scene of a reported robbery at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Monday. Rabbits Discovered In Tigard Hotel Room (June 18, 2009) An employee of a Tigard extended stay business contacted Tigard Police on Tuesday afternoon to report observing rabbits caged in a hotel room. The call came from Homestead Suites located at 13009 SW 68th Pkwy in Tigard at approximately 2:50 pm. Rash of Burglaries in Tigard Neighborhood-Two Juveniles Arrested (June 10, 2009) Five Tigard homes reported being burglarized during the day on Monday afternoon. The victims of the burglaries contacted Tigard Police upon discovering someone had entered their home and removed property. Teenage Boy Attacked By Man With a Metal Poker (December 18, 2008) The father of a fifteen year old Tigard boy contacted Tigard Police Sunday night and reported his son was attacked. The father advised police that his son was alone and walking their family dog in the 11600 block of SW Tigard St. at approximately 9:45 pm Sunday evening. Hotel Employee Robbed by Gunpoint (December 18, 2008) An employee of the Tigard Homestead Studio Suites reported being robbed. The incident occurred on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at approximately 9:00 am. Vehicle Plows Into Hair Salon-Three Injured (December 11, 2008) On Wednesday morning, December 10th at approximately 10:45 am, Tigard Police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a hair salon. Eight Vehicles Damaged-Random Vandalism (December 9, 2008) Tigard Police is currently investigating a vandalism spree during the night that damaged at least eight vehicles. Tigard Woman Killed In DUII Hit and Run (June 23, 2008) A 41 year-old Tigard woman died Saturday morning as a result of injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle as she was crossing a street. The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 am Saturday morning in an area along SW Walnut St near 121st Ave. in Tigard. The victim died at the scene. The first series of reported incidents began on February 26th when a citizen reported a large red flag with a Swastika that was tethered to a utility pole along Highway 217 near 72nd Ave. A Juvenile and an Adult Arrested After Rite-Aid Robbery (March 5, 2008) Within minutes of the Tigard Main Street Rite-Aid Store being robbed, Tigard Police arrested the pair allegedly responsible. A call to 9-1-1 at about 4:20 pm Monday afternoon stated that a store employee was robbed by gunpoint reportedly involving a man dressed in all black wearing a dark ski mask and hooded jacket. Early Morning Robbery at Tigard Subway Shop (February 28, 2008) An employee of a Tigard Subway shop located at 11634 SW Pacific Highway reported a robbery at about 3:45am Wednesday morning. Information provided to police detailed an adult white male entering the store and walking to the area near the cash register. Tigard Man Dies From Self-Inflicted Gun Shot Wound (January 2, 2008) Tigard Police Officers were called to a home located at 7916 SW Bond St. earlier this morning on a report of a man being shot. Police arrived within minutes and discovered that 32 year old Robert Sean Gillroy had been shot with a handgun. Tigard Police Investigate Burglary (December 24, 2007) Tigard Police are searching for a woman involved in a string of burglaries that occurred during one night at the Tigard Medical Mall and Immediate Care Center office complex on December 23rd.
