Teen Alleges Being Robbed While Walking In Tigard
A 17 year-old boy called 9-1-1 at approximately 6:25 p.m. Friday evening to report being robbed. While walking along the 8600 block of SW Pine St. in Tigard, the victim alleged that he was approached by a white man in his early 20s. The suspect asked the victim for a cigarette which the victim responded he had none. The suspect then lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun tucked inside the waistband of his pants and demanded the boy's backpack. The suspect then fled on foot with the backpack while the victim ran the opposite direction. Once notified, Tigard Police arrived at the location and immediately contained the area as well as conducted a K-9 search. No suspect was located. The victim was not injured.

The victim recalled the suspect was wearing a white muscle t-shirt and blue jeans. No other descriptors are available.
