Suspect Arrested in ATM Robbery
Simon Michael Houssein At about 3:15 PM Sunday, January 29th, 2012, Tigard Police responded to a call of a Robbery at the ATM of Chase Bank, located at 11354 SW Durham Rd. Tigard, OR. Officers determined a middle aged woman had been approached by a male carrying a knife, who demanded she give him an undisclosed amount of money she had just withdrawn from the ATM. A witness observed the incident and was able to provide a detailed vehicle description. The vehicle was later located in a Tigard neighborhood. Sometime later a Tigard officer observed the vehicle leave the neighborhood and contact was made in the parking lot of a business on SW Bangy Rd. in Lake Oswego.

Officers identified the driver of the vehicle at Simon Michael Houssein, 23, of Tigard. At around 8:30 PM Houssein was taken into custody at the location of the contact, without incident. He was lodged at the Washington County Jail on one count of Robbery I.
