City of Tigard Asking Residents for Feedback on City Services
  • How satisfied are you with city services?

  • What services warrant the most emphasis from city leaders?

  • What is your overall perception of Tigard?

  • Every two years Tigard residents are surveyed to ascertain their use of and satisfaction with City services as well as to determine priorities for their neighborhoods and the City. Topical questions added to this year's survey ask residents their opinion on recreation, social media, economic development, and high capacity transit.

This is the first time an online version has been made available to residents. Previously, the biennial survey was administered only as a telephone survey. A statistically valid telephone survey of 400 Tigard residents will again be administered this year.

Survey results from the telephone version and online version will be presented at the City Council meeting on November 22, 2011. The results provide a framework for guiding the organization's work efforts and are used by the City Council to help shape City budget priorities.
