Closure of 72nd Avenue
72nd Avenue south of Dartmouth Street (between Dartmouth and Beveland Streets) will be closed the weekend of September 10, 2011 for installation of a 48-inch arch culvert immediately south of the Dartmouth Street intersection. Street closure will begin at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 and end at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2011.
The street will be closed to through traffic between Beveland Street and Hermoso Way and closed to all traffic between Hermoso Way and Dartmouth Street during the closure. A detour route has been established and approved by the city for implementation during the closure period. Street signs announcing the closure will be posted at the approaches to the work site the week prior to the scheduled closure.

The scheduled work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled if weather does not permit the culvert installation to proceed.
