Tigard Plaid Pantry Robbed - No One Injured
An employee of a Plaid Pantry convenience store located 11705 SW Pacific Highway contacted police at approximately 6:30 am on Sunday, March 6, 2011 to report a robbery. The victim stated that a white male entered the store just before 6:30 am and made a demand for money. The suspect is described as late 20's and approximately 5'11" in height. Additional information indicated the suspect was wearing a green zippered sweatshirt or jacket along with a black "beenie." The suspect implied he had a weapon under his clothing although none was seen. The employee handed over the money and the suspect fled from the location. Tigard Police officers were on scene within minutes and a K9 track was initiated. No suspect was located. Police are checking video surveillance in the area for possible leads.
