US Bank Robbed-Police Apprehend Suspect
A 9-1-1- call indicated the US Bank located at 12160 SW Main St. in Tigard was robbed at approximately 12:55 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2010. Tigard Officers were in the area within moments and worked to contain the surrounding streets.

Police reports indicate that a white female suspect allegedly entered the bank, approached an employee in the teller area and made a demand for money. A weapon was implied however none was seen. The suspect was handed over money and then quickly departed. A witness observed the suspect departing the area in a green Mustang which was quickly broadcast over the police radio.

Shortly after, a Tigard Police Officer spotted a Mustang traveling north on Pacific Highway driven by a white female. With the assistance of several other Tigard officers, the vehicle was stopped in a parking lot located at 11646 SW Pacific Highway without incident. The suspect was alone in the vehicle and was detained by police. A witness was then brought to the scene of the traffic stop and identified the suspect. Amanda Rose Stone, 23, was taken into custody by Tigard Police on charges of robbery.
