Accidental Death Involving a Tigard 3 year-old
Tigard Police is currently investigating the death of a 3 year-old female. Several 9-1-1 calls were placed at approximately 11:15 am yesterday reporting the need for medical assistance to a home located on SW 82nd Ave. in Tigard. When Tigard Police officers arrived on scene, medical personnel were providing emergency medical treatment to the child. An ambulance transported the child to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Tigard investigators and personnel from TVF&R remained at the home to assist other family members and provide support. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. Tigard investigators have no indication that the girl's death was anything other than a tragic accident.
