Suspect With Gun Robs Tigard Walgreens The Tigard Police Department is presently investigating a robbery occurring at the Walgreen's store located at 13939 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard. An employee of the business called 9-1-1 to report the incident at approximately 5:10 pm Monday, March 22nd. Within minutes of the reported robbery, Tigard Police officers contained the area and began searching for the suspect, who just minutes earlier, demanded "Oxycontin" from an employee at the prescription counter area. The suspect is alleged to have displayed and threatened the employee with a black handgun during the ordeal. No one was injured. The suspect is described as a white male, 20-25 years old, 5'9", 190 lbs. Videos obtained from the business indicate the suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and black shoes. A witness informed police that the suspect ran from the store into an adjacent neighborhood. A Lake Oswego K9 unit assisting Tigard Police focused on the neighborhood in the search for the suspect, however none was located.
