Opportunity to View Tigard's Transportation Vision
The City of Tigard invites residents and business owners to view the results of a year-long process to update the City's Transportation System Plan (TSP) at an open house on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Tigard Public Library Community Room (13500 SW Hall Boulevard). The updated TSP includes transportation goals and policies, as well as a list of projects intended to meet the community's needs over the next 20 years. The TSP is a component of the Comprehensive Plan and helps the City prepare for future growth within Tigard and the region.

In particular, the TSP:

Provides a blueprint for transportation investment to address existing and forecast transportation issues;
Informs prudent and effective land use policies;
Facilitates coordination with local and regional transportation agencies.
