Tigard Water Service Area Not Affected by Portland Water Bureau Boil Water Notice
Residents of the Tigard Water Service Area* (TWSA) were not affected by the Portland Water Bureau Boil Water Notice issued on Saturday, November 28, 2009.

Although Tigard is currently purchasing 100% of its water from the Portland Water Bureau, Tigard's water supply is not delivered via Portland's contaminated Reservoir 3.

While Tigard worked to verify that our water supply was not affected, some TWSA residents may have been informed to boil their water as a precautionary measure.

Please be assured that had the TWSA water supply been at risk, a boil water notification would have been issued by the City of Tigard to all TWSA residents. The City of Tigard apologizes for this confusion and thanks all TWSA residents for their patience and understanding during this situation.

For more water-related information, check out the Water Department page. If you have additional questions and/or concerns you are encouraged to contact Environmental Program Coordinator, Sally Mills at 503-718-2604 or at sally@tigard-or.gov.

*The Tigard Water Service Area consists of the Cities of Durham, King City, two-thirds of Tigard and the Tigard Water District.
