Ash Street Dog Park Closed During Construction
The NEW Burnham Street is under construction and dogs are being "scent" to other dog parks starting November 1, 2009. At the completion of the project - anticipated in late 2010 - the community will have a New Burnham Street and an improved Ash Street Dog Park.

During construction, please visit one of Tigard's other dog parks:

Summerlake Dog Park - Located in northwest Tigard, south of Scholls Ferry Road and east of 135th Avenue (11450 SW Winterlake Drive). Summerlake is open daily dawn to dusk.

Potso Dog Park - Located on Wall Street off Hunziker Street. Potso is open from 4:30 p.m. to dusk on Friday, and dawn to dusk on Saturday and Sunday. Open over Thanksgiving and Christmas weekend's dawn to dusk.

Background
Construction of the long awaited Burnham Street improvements is finally getting started! For years, planning has been underway to rebuild this key route connecting City Hall with Downtown, between Hall Boulevard and Main Street. Access to area businesses will be maintained throughout construction. Construction updates, information about lane closures, detours and other temporary disruptions are available at www.tigard-or.gov/burnham.
