Tigard Trail Count - Be on the Look-Out
On September 8-10, 12, and 13, volunteers wearing orange vests will be out on the City greenway trails counting and surveying trail users. This will occur at various points along the Fanno Creek, Tualatin River, and Pathfinder/Genesis Trails. The local survey is being conducted as part of the National Count/Survey Days. On the west side of the metro area, Tigard, Hillsboro, and THPRD are participating in the national count.

The information collected will provide the first-ever baseline data on City greenway trail use. It will be used to make decisions regarding trail improvement needs, monitor trail use trends over time, and aid in obtaining grant funds for trail improvement projects. So if you see one of our vested volunteers please stop and take a few moments to fill out a very brief questionnaire. As a trail user, this will let your voice be heard. Thank you!
