Spraying for Non-native Plants
On Monday, August 17th a contractor for Clean Water Services will begin spraying along Fanno Creek between SW Main Street and SW Ash Avenue. Prior to spraying, employees of Clean Water Services will check the area for turtles and other wildlife. If raining, the spray will be re-scheduled. Spraying this summer will ensure the non-native plants, such as reed canarygrass and Himalayan blackberry, are gone prior to next summer's scheduled construction.
