New Hours @ the Building Counter
Do you have an inspection that needs to be done or want to apply for a building permit? Then you should know that beginning Monday, August 10, 2009, the Tigard Building Division, located in the Permit Center at 13125 SW Hall Blvd. will be reducing its hours.

The Building Division counter will be closed to customers every Monday and no building inspections will be performed on Mondays. The new hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

Tigard City Council approved the modified hours at the July 21, 2009 Council meeting. It is intended to be a temporary solution to budget issues caused by the economic downturn. The new hours of operation will better serve the community by opening one hour earlier and offering additional inspections in the afternoons, Tuesdays through Fridays.

Please Note: Planning and Engineering Services, also located in the Permit Center, remain unaffected. Planning and Engineering staff will be available to the public during normal business hours, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
