Downtown Tigard Urban Renewal Open House
On July 29, 2009 the City of Tigard will hold an Open House at the Tigard Public Library to update stakeholders and citizens on the progress of Urban Renewal in Downtown Tigard.

Downtown Tigard Urban Renewal Open House
Wednesday, July 29, 2009
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tigard Public Library Community Room (13500 SW Hall Blvd., Tigard)

One major topic is the Proposed Downtown Code Amendments and Design Standards. These land use regulations and zoning map changes will promote well-designed new development in the Downtown and assure the viability and continuation of existing businesses. The Open House is an opportunity for stakeholders to provide comments and feedback to staff before the public hearing process, scheduled to start in the fall. The draft design standards and zoning changes are available for review prior to the Open House at the Permit Center front desk at Tigard City Hall and online.

Information will also be presented on:
  • Downtown Circulation Plan
  • Upcoming capital construction projects on Main St. (Green Street project), Burnham St., and Greenburg/99W and Hall/99W intersections
  • Main Street Façade Improvement Pilot Project
  • Family Fest Downtown events
For questions and additional information, please contact Senior Planner, Sean Farrelly, at 503-718-2420 or e-mail sean@tigard-or.gov.
