Public Forum: "Tigard Transportation System Plan"
The first of three public forums to review and discuss the update of the Tigard Transportation System Plan (TSP) takes place Wednesday, June 24. The TSP is the City's transportation master plan for the next 20 years.

The materials to be discussed at the public forum include:
  • Draft Transportation Goals and Policies
  • Existing Transportation Conditions Report
  • Transportation Needs and Deficiencies Report
The process to update the Tigard TSP will provide the community with:
  • a blueprint for transportation investment;
  • a coordination tool with regional agencies and local jurisdictions;
  • an important component of prudent and effective land use choices;
  • a means to prepare for future growth in Tigard and the region; and
  • answers to existing and future transportation needs related to bicycles, pedestrians, transit, vehicles, freight, and rail.
For more information, or to get involved, please visit www.tigard-or.gov/transportation. Please contact Darren Wyss at phone 503-718-2442 if you have any questions.
