Tigard Police Request Help to Identify Victim Tigard Police Investigators are hoping that the public may be able to help identify a body that is currently being held by the State Medical Examiner's Office. The body has been kept in a freezer for the past 7 years in the hopes that someone, either a family member or a friend, will be able to identify the victim. The victim was killed after being struck by a train in Tigard on the evening of October 7th, 2001. All attempts to identify the victim have been unsuccessful. The unidentified victim is described as a white male, late 30's to mid 40's, 5'9" tall and 180 pounds. At the time of his death, the victim did possess some receipts possibly linking him at some point to the Ashland area in Oregon and the Sellwood area in Portland. The State Medical Examiner's office recently contacted Tigard Police with some added help. A sketch was created using photographs of the victim. The image is attached. If anyone has information that could possibly lead to identifying the victim, they are asked to contact Tigard Police at 503-718-2576. |
