Tigard Library Survey Targets Library Services The Tigard Library will ask citizens about library services and customer service in its annual patron survey beginning Sunday, Feb. 1 through Saturday, Feb. 14. Patrons may fill out a brief survey in the library or take it on-line from home or at the library. The survey will also ask people how they learn about library programs and services. Three computers in the Library will be dedicated to the on-line version of the survey, which was also distributed through Cityscape, the City's newsletter. Both English and Spanish paper surveys will be available at the library. Everyone is invited to participate in the survey, even those who have never used the library. Responses from the annual survey are used to provide new services or revise existing services to make them more patron-friendly. For example, the library has restored hours and added new ones according to patron responses over the last few years. Last year the Library received over 3,000 responses to the survey and made improvements or enhancements to library services based on the responses. |
