Tigard Public Library Will Feature Inauguration Day Festivities on the Big Screen
The Tigard Public Library will broadcast the inauguration of President Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. Pacific Standard Time followed by the President's Inaugural address to the nation and the world.

The Library has aired a number of election-related events in the past few months including the debates and election night returns. Screening the Inauguration for the public continues the Library's public affairs series.

Everyone is welcome to drop in to the Community Room for television coverage from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.. For more information, please call the Library at 503-684-6537 and ask for the Adult Reference Desk.
