Pair Arrested in Connection With Home Robbery
An investigation conducted by Tigard Police Detectives recently culminated with a Washington County Grand Jury indictment for two suspects alleged to be responsible for a robbery and assault of a Tigard man in his home. The incident occurred on October 14th when the victim responded to an ad on "Craigslist." In addition to robbing and beating the victim, the suspects stole his vehicle from the garage. Tigard Police was ultimately able to identify the two involved.

On Saturday, Clark County Sheriff's deputies arrested Matthew Johansen (112374) during a traffic stop in Vancouver, WA. Johansen was taken into custody and held on the warrants issued from Washington County. Two days later, Jamie Lynn Sweany (031577), the female accomplice alleged to be involved in the Tigard robbery, was also taken into custody by Vancouver Police from a residence in Vancouver, WA.

Both suspects are currently being held in the Clark County Jail awaiting extradition to Washington County. Both are charged with Robbery I, Assault III and Burglary I. Johansen is also charged with UUMV for his role in the vehicle theft from the victim's home.
