Handgun Displayed During Robbery of Deli in Tigard
At approximately 2:25 a.m. Wednesday morning, a lone man entered the Windfall Deli located at 13815 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard. Witnesses stated the suspect entered wearing a black hoody sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes with white soles. Upon entering, the suspect allegedly rushed to the front counter, displayed a handgun and made a demand for money to an employee. There were two customers in the deli at the time. After taking an u ndetermined amount of money, the suspect fled and proceeded to run south on 99W. There were no reported injuries.

The employee working at the time was able to activate a panic alarm. Tigard Police was notified and arrived within moments. The area was contained and police conducted a K9 track. The suspect was not located.

Information provided to Tigard Police describe the suspect as a thin, white male, possibly in his early 20's. The suspect was wearing a black knit ski mask revealing only his eyes and mouth area.

Tigard investigators are asking if anyone has information regarding the incident, to contact Tigard Police at 503-639-6168.
