Police Looking For Possible Additional Victims Connected to Lewd Behavior
On June 21st, Tigard Police arrested 47 year old Jose Sanchez-Moreno of Wilsonville. Sanchez-Moreno was spotted by store security at Sears in Tigard acting suspiciously in the presence of two minor females just before 6:00 pm. Immediately, store security alerted Tigard Police and provided video capturing Sanchez-Moreno in the presence of the fifteen year old female and her friend. Unknowing to the girl, Sanchez-Moreno is seen on the floor of the store looking up the skirt of the teenager as the she is focusing her attention on merchandise and conversing with her friend. Sanchez-Moreno is seen leaving the area as a couple of males approach the area. A short time later, Sanchez-Moreno was located just outside the store where Tigard Police arrested him. Moreno-Sanchez was then lodged in the Washington County Jail on charges of Disorderly Conduct.

Tigard investigators believe there may be other victims as well. Detectives are especially interested in speaking to the person who made an anonymous call to police last winter alleging seeing a male sitting in a red Corvette parked in the lot near the store. The caller indicated the male inside the vehicle appeared to be masturbating. Sanchez-Moreno is known to operate a similar vehicle.

Further, Tigard Police is asking the help of the public to possibly identify other incidents involving Sanchez-Moreno who may have engaged in inappropriate or possible criminal behavior. Police are concerned other females, including juveniles, may have also been victimized, possibly unknowingly.

Anyone with information is urged to call Tigard Police Detective David Hockin at 503-718-2553.
