I-5 to 99W Connector Project Alternatives Analysis Report Available

I-5 to 99W Connector Project Alternatives Analysis Report Available for Public Review and Comment
The Alternatives Analysis Report comparatively evaluating proposed solutions for the I-5 to 99W Connector project is now available for review and public comment. The Connector project will address the problem of inadequate transportation facilities in the outer southwest quadrant of the Portland metropolitan area by providing a high capacity, limited access corridor connecting I-5 and Highway 99W. The Report examines a range of alternatives that will eventually be narrowed down to a preferred solution.

Copies of the Alternatives Analysis Report are now available for review on the project website. Copies of the Alternative Analysis Report (AAR) will also be available at the front desks of the following locations:
  • City Libraries: Wilsonville, Sherwood, Tualatin, and Tigard
  • City and County Offices: Washington County, Clackamas County, City of Tualatin, City of Sherwood, City of Tigard
  • ODOT Region 1 Offices
  • METRO Headquarters
Three Community Open House Hearings are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008
6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.-Archer Glen Elementary School
16155 SW Sunset Blvd., Sherwood

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008
6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.-Tualatin High School
22300 SW Boones Ferry Road, Tualatin

Thursday, June 26th, 2008
6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.-Wilsonville High School
6800 S.W. Wilsonville Road, Wilsonville

The public is invited to learn more about the project alternatives and to comment on the findings of the alternatives analysis. Public comments on the Alternative Analysis Report will be received until July 30th.
