Juvenile Arrested for Rash of Pellets Shot at Vehicles
This afternoon, Tigard Police Officers visited homes along SW Hall Blvd. between O'Mara St. and Sattler St. in efforts to ask residents for their help to end a series of incidents involving pellets being shot at moving vehicles along SW Hall Blvd.

Tigard Police have reports of six incidents beginning in February and continuing as recently as Monday. In all cases the motorists reported what appeared to be pellets hitting their windows or the side of the vehicle. In most cases, the victims reported minor paint damage to their vehicle.

During the course of the neighborhood sweep, officers were able to identify an eleven year old Tigard boy allegedly responsible for the incidents. Information obtained by officers during today's neighborhood visit led them to the suspect. Police also located an assortment of pellets which were likely used in the incidents that were found along the side of road where motorists reported being hit by pellets.

No one reported any injuries as a result of the incidents. The boy was referred to the Washington County Juvenile Department. He was charged with 7 counts of Reckless Endangerment and 6 counts of Criminal Mischief II.
