Tigard Police, in partnership with “Shred-it” will sponsor a “community shred” on Saturday, April 19 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Tigard City Hall. FREE!!

Why not also bring a non-perishable food item for the Oregon Food Bank?

Shredding paperwork and computer disks effectively can reduce the elements of identity theft. Events such as this, give individuals the opportunity to have their confidential documents destroyed, free of charge, by one of Shred-it's trained Customer Service Representatives. Whether it's small business documents you no longer need or personal papers you want destroyed, "Shred-it" trucks contain cutting-edge proprietary technology that can handle the job. For years, law enforcement officials have been stressing the importance of safeguarding personal information and to take precautions when disposing of such materials. This is an excellent opportunity to securely dispose of household documents and other materials containing sensitive information.
