Tigard Library's Spring Break Festival Offers Activities for All Ages The Tigard Public Library will present a week of family activities during Spring Break from Friday, March 21, through Sunday, March 30. A hound with superpowers and a picnic lunch movie will be presented during the week. Kick off Spring Break with an evening of traditional Latin American music performed by Paraguayan harpist Antonio Centurion on Friday, March 21, from 7-8 p.m. A special Saturday Adventure features Story Time & Rabbit Fun with the Beatrix Potter Society on March 22, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Decorate your very own flower pot and plant a seed to take home with you on Tuesday, March 25, from 2-4 p.m. Grades K-4 are invited to Horton Hears a Who Party! on Wednesday, March 26, from 2-4. All ages are welcome to join the Education Director of the Portland Classical Chinese Garden for a guided virtual tour of the Garden on Thursday, March 27, from 2-3 p.m. Adults and teens are invited to create your own cards and gifts for any occasion during Paper Creations! on Friday, March 28, from 2-4 p.m. The Spring Break Festival wraps up with a musical performance by Conductor Allan Halbert and the Starlight Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, March 30, from 3-4:30 p.m. All Spring Break Festival events are free. No registration is required. The events will be held in either the Community Room or the Puett Room. The Spring Break Festival is sponsored in part by the Friends of the Tigard Public Library.
