Volunteer Position on the Intergovernmental Water Board
The Intergovernmental Water Board (IWB) represents over 60,000 water customers from Durham, King City, two-thirds of Tigard and unincorporated Washington County. The board makes recommendations on drinking water issues and is currently focused on developing and evaluating future water sources.

The IWB consists of five members. Each jurisdiction is represented by one member, and one member is appointed at-large. The at-large member is selected by a majority vote of the other members.

The IWB is seeking a volunteer to fill the at-large member position. The at-large member will serve a two-year term and must be available for IWB meetings held on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Attendance at other meetings may also be required. A complete position description is available at IWB Commissioner Position Description.

Interested individuals are encouraged to complete and submit an application by 5 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2008. For more information, or to obtain an application, contact Tigard Public Works Director Dennis Koellermeier at 503-718-2596 or dennis@tigard-or.gov.
