***UPDATE*** to Missing 78 Year-old Tigard Man Leonard Jones has just been reported located. According to a family member, Jones arrived this morning at his intended destination in Arizona. Jones appeared somewhat confused, but otherwise safe and in good health. (See original media release below.) 78 Year-old Tigard Man Missing 
A 78 year old Tigard man has been reported missing. Judy Dillree told police that her father,
Leonard C. Jones, left on a driving trip to Arizona and has not been seen since. Jones was last
seen on November 7th, however was scheduled to leave his Tigard home on November 9th for Arizona.
Jones was scheduled to arrive two days later in Green Valley, Arizona to attend a golf tournament.
He did not arrive when anticipated and family expecting him at his destination alerted his
daughter in Oregon.Jones' daughter, Judy Dillree advised police that her father exhibits mild elements of occasional dementia along with hypertension. According to a family member, Jones' likely route of travel was Highway 99 south to Bakersfield and over Tehachapi Pass through the Mojave Desert. Dillree advised police that it is not unusual for her father to arrive late at his destination, however he would typically stay in contact with family while traveling. Information relating to Jones and his vehicle has been sent to all law enforcement in the western United States. Jones is described as 5'7" tall and 180 lbs., blue eyes, grey hair and a scar above his lip. Jones is driving a silver 2003 Buick LeSabre 4 door with Oregon plate ZES 100. Anyone who may have seen Jones or his vehicle is urged to contact local law enforcement.
