Tigard Library Introduces New Self-checkout Machine
The Tigard Library is sporting a new self-checkout machine just in time for the new school year. Located on the first floor across from the Check-out Desk, the new machine is quicker and easier to use than the previous model. Features include a touch screen, ability for patrons to check their account information and instructions in English and Spanish.

To inaugurate the new machine, library staff will be on hand to help people learn to use it. Those who try out the new machine in September are eligible to enter a drawing for a gift box of goodies.
