Early Morning Tigard Shooting Sends Two Men to Hospital
Tigard Police were called to the Brighton Hill Apartments located at 10450 SW McDonald St. in Tigard at about 4:05 this morning. A 34 year old female who rents the apartment reportedly called 9-1-1 and stated a man entered her unit and shot two men.

The woman reported a knock at her door at about 4:00am. She stated she saw a woman whom she recognized on the other side of door and then opened it. The witness then alleged a man charged in and went towards the rear of the unit where the two victims were located. The gunman fired several shots and then fled the apartment. The woman who opened the door was not injured. A K-9 track conducted by Hillsboro Police led investigators to an area along 99W, several blocks away. The track then stalled.

The two victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. 37 year old Vosveli Herrera Hernandez and 24 year old Eli Romero Machorro are expected to recover.

Tigard investigators are presently interviewing the witness and others that may have information. The suspect that allegedly fired the weapon is described as an adult white male with a shaved head. Police are currently working on leads. If anyone has information connected to this incident, they are asked to contact Tigard Police Detective Kevin Dresser at 503-718-2576.
