Pavement Maintenance Program Resumes This Summer

The City's Fiscal Year 2007-08 Pavement Major Maintenance Program (PMMP) continues this summer with construction expected to begin in late July or early August 2007.

New pavement overlays will be applied on the following streets:
  • Summerfield Drive (from 114th Court to Alderbrook Drive)
  • Upper Boones Ferry Road (from 72nd Avenue to I-5 overcrossing)
  • Greenburg Road (from Shady Lane to Tiedeman Avenue)
  • 108th Avenue (from 1,080 feet south of Durham to Durham Road)
  • 88th Avenue (from Durham Road)
  • Durham Road (Serena Court to Hall Blvd)
Traffic delays and road closures can be anticipated during the construction period. Work for Greenburg Road, Upper Boones Ferry Road and Durham Road will be performed at night between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am to avoid traffic delays during peak hours. Advance notice will be given to area residents and businesses on, or near, the work sites.

This project is the City's annual long-term street preventative and corrective maintenance program to extend pavement life and avoid costly reconstruction. Streets that make the cut each year are selected through evaluation of the types, severity and extent of pavement distress, and traffic volumes. The construction of this project is funded through the City's Community Investment Program from the Street Maintenance Fee. For more information on the City of Tigard's Community Investment Program and various funding sources, please visit our Community Investment Program page.
