Church Vandalism Being Investigated
During the early morning hours of June 26th, Tigard Police Officers responded to four (4) acts of vandalism to local churches. The acts of vandalism started about 2 am and ended about 45 minutes later. Officer responded to the following churches:

1) Calvin Presbyterian Church, 10445 SW Canterbury Ln.
2) Tigard Christian Church, 13405 SW Hall Blvd.
3) Church of Jesus Christ and LDS, 15555 SW 98th
4) Church of Christ, 9725 SW Durham Rd.

An unknown number of persons broke out several windows to church buildings and vehicles owned by the churches. It has been estimated that each church suffered several thousand dollars in damage to property. The Tigard Police Department is currently looking into any possible leads. Anyone who has information concerning this crime is encouraged to contact the Tigard Police Department with information. At this time we have no information which connects these cases with the cases in Washington County.
